St. Brigid Catholic Academy on the Ridgewood/Bushwick border in Brooklyn recently honored groups of youngsters as Students of the Month for achieving high markes during October and November 2012. The October group of honorees (shown in the left photo) included Ryan Ghigliotti and Megan Pena, pre-kindergarten; Jandel Velasquez and Edward Pachucho, kindergarten; Dylan Rico and Gabriela Ragusa, first grade; Sutaya Bien and Bryan Pino, second grade; Paul Puma Asmal and Jasmine Perez, third grade; Jair Rico and Illiana Vallejo, fourth grade; Jennifer Gualpa and Edwin Pachucho, fifth grade; Kimberly Espinoza and Bryan Cuzco, sixth grade; Yamilex Tomala and Edwin Romero, seventh grade; and Destiny Stirbling and Aaron Guzman, eighth grade.
