the Times Newsweekly Gets Action on Fence

Shortly after the Times Newsweekly informed the Metropolitan Transportation Authority about an 80- foot hole in the fence near Long Island Rail Road tracks in Elmhurst, the MTA patched up the hole on 90th Street and 45th Avenue. Residents had complained that local children were using the hole to sneak onto the tracks, causing a hazardous situation.
