Halloween came early in Kew Gardens for these young trick-or-treaters as Maple Grove Cemetery held a parade and pumpkin carving contest on Saturday

It was a full house at the Glendale/Maspeth United Methodist Church’s Pancake Breakfast last Saturday, Feb. 2. Pictured (from front left, standing) are local resident Chris Purcell, chefs Jim Pyne and Walter Woerner, Pastor Rev. Philip Hardt, Assemblyman Mike Miller, Kiwanis Club Of Glendale President Len Licata, and Lorraine Gering, the church’s lay leader.
