FLUSHING — A 44-year-old NYPD officer was arrested on charges of menacing and petit larceny after he allegedly stole a saw blade from a Flushing Home Depot and pointed a gun at a security guard’s stomach, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Mohammad Khan allegedly took the blade from the shelf of the store, at 131-35 Avery Ave., Nov. 17 at about 11:13 a.m. and placed it in his waistband, the DA said.

When he made his way to the exit, two guards tried to stop him, but he began to fight with them when they tried to handcuff him, the DA said. The saw blade fell to the ground during the fight, the DA said.

Khan also at one point pulled out a silver firearm and placed it against the stomach of one of the security guards, the DA said.
