Firefighters and paramedics rushed to a busy Maspeth intersection on Sunday afternoon, Mar. 17, after a pair of sedans collided, leaving one driver injured. According to sources, the incident occurred at around 2:22 p.m. at the corner of Borden and Maurice avenues near the Long Island Expressway. Among the units which responded were firefighters from Squad Co. 288. The injured motorist was rushed by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
