Members of the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813 in Woodside recently learned how to launch their own businesses through a seminar conducted by Man-Li Kuo Lin of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson. As noted

Politicians and members of the Queens Jewish Community Council came together for the council’s annual Passover food distribution, Mar. 17. Throughout the year, the Queens Jewish Community Council provides hundreds of families in need with food packages that are consistent with Jewish dietary customs. Rep. Grace Meng, State Sen. Toby Ann Stavisky, Council Member Karen Koslowitz and Council Member Mark Weprin are all present.
