Students Get Their Class Rings In Ridgewood

The American Legion Garity Post in Ridgewood held its annual Commander’s Dinner on Saturday

Eighth-graders at St. Matthias School in Ridgewood received their class rings in a special ceremony held last week in St. Matthias’ lower church. The students are shown on the altar with Msgr. Edward Scharfenberger, the church’s pastor, who officiated over the Mass in which the rings were blessed.
