Firefighters are shown amassing on the roof of a Richmond Hill storefront during a two-alarm blaze on Tuesday morning, Apr. 2, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the inferno ignited at around 10 a.m. inside a second-floor apartment above a grocery store at the corner of 95th Avenue and 116th Street. More than 20 FDNY units, the 102nd Precinct and EMS units responded. There were no reported injuries. Three hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
