Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish a one-alarm fire that charred the second floor of an Ozone Park home on Monday
Firefighters rushed to put out a one-alarm blaze that broke out on the top floor of an apartment house in Elmhurst last Tuesday afternoon, Apr. 16, it was reported. According to sources, the fire started at about 3 p.m. at a four-story building on 42nd Avenue near Junction Boulevard. No serious injuries were reported.
