Air Force Airman Julio C. Silva recently graduated from basic military training at the Joint Base San Antonio Lackland in San Antonio, Tx. As noted, the airman completed an intensive, eightweek program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Silva is the son of Rosa Silva of 77th Street in Ozone Park and a 2011 graduate of the High School for Environmental Studies in Manhattan.
