WHITESTONE — Police released video footage showing one of four suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion that occurred last week.

At about 3:30 a.m. April 25, a group of men entered a Whitestone home, flashed guns and ordered the family into a bedroom, according to the NYPD.

The men, who police described as being in their 20s, then tied up the family before pocketing cash and jewelry, police said.

The family was unharmed in the incident, according to cops.

Chrissy Voskerichian, president of the 109th Precinct Community Council, said in an e-mail that home invasions are rare in the area, but are typically planned in advance.

Voskerichian urged residents to call 911 if they notice any unusual incidents in the neighborhood. She also suggested homeowners take advantage of the precinct’s free assessment service, where officers examine a person’s house and offer advice on how to make it more secure.
