Transportation Alternatives and City Council Member Diana Reyna are sponsoring a pedestrian safety forum in Ridgewood tonight, Thursday, Apr. 18.
As announced, the session will begin at 6:30 p.m. at I.S. 77, located at 976 Seneca Ave., between Centre and Hancock streets.
According to an email sent to Community Board 5, the forum is being held in response to a recent fatal accident that occurred at the corner of Myrtle Avenue, Wyckoff Avenue and Palmetto Street. Ridgewood residents will be asked for input on making the intersection safer.
Representatives of the city Department of Transportation, MTA New York City Transit and the 104th Precinct have been invited to attend.
