The East Coast Car Association of Glendale recently teamed up with the Knights of Columbus General Sherman/Father Shine Post 569 in Fresh Meadows for a car show, blood drive, flea market and barbecue to support autism at the Robin Sue Ward School for Exceptional Children in Fresh Meadows. As noted, the day was filled with activities for children; youngsters from nearby P.S. 177 chose the winning vehicles. Approximately $7,100 was raised for various activities for the children of P.S. 177.
