Cops Seek Perp For Sexual Assault

A 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted early Sunday morning, May 5, after the man who gave her a lift in his vehicle chased her down an Ozone Park street and attacked her, according to police.

Law enforcement sources said the assault happened around 5:10 a.m. on the corner of 98th Street and 97th Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s with a stocky build, and he was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue and white shirt, according to police.

When he dropped the victim off near the location above, police said he exited the vehicle, chased her to the corner of the street and sexually assaulted her.

The incident was later reported to the 102nd Precinct.

As of press time, no arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing.
