Students and teachers at P.S. 81 celebrated their love of books during their annual “Hats Off to Reading” Day Parade around their Ridgewood school last week. As shown

Guests at the monthly jazz jam session at Flushing Town Hall last Wednesday, May 1, were treated to a special performance by City Council Member Peter Vallone Jr.. An avid musician who plays the guitar and three other instrument, Vallone was invited on stage and played two New Orleans blues songs with the band.
