Newest Lion Roars In Maspeth Club

The Queens Pride House celebrated its 15th anniversary with a benefit event held on Sept. 27 at Novo in Jackson Heights. As noted

During their regular meeting last Thursday, Apr. 25, the Maspeth Lions Club inducted its newest member, Tommaso Izzo, owner and operator of Three Sons Restaurant in Maspeth. Prior to his membership, it was noted, Izzo made a host of contributions to the club, donating pizzas to their annual Christmas party for underprivileged children at St. Stanislaus School and delivering holiday meals to the homebound. Izzo (center) is pictured receiving his membership certificate from Maspeth Lions President Joseph B. Papavero (at left) and Lion Regional Chair Joseph Abramaitis.
