Phones and iPads swiped from Astoria shop: Police

ASTORIA — Cops were looking for members of a crew who helped themselves to some gadgets at an AT&T store over the weekend.

Police say four suspects went into the store at 31-54 Steinway St. around 4:45 p.m. Saturday and made off with three iPads and two Samsung Galaxy cell phones.

Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
