A body was pulled from East River in Long Island City Monday night, authorities said.
Police responded to a 911 call of a body found in the water at 4-01 44th Drive, off the coast of Hunters Point, and they found a fully clothed dead man submerged in the water, officials said.
Members of the NYPD Scuba Team and Harbor Unit retrieved the body, and there were no visible signs of trauma, according to police.
The man is described as a 30-year-old Asian man, and the city medical examiner is investigating to determine the cause of his death, according to cops.
