SOUTH JAMAICA — Police have identified David Ates as the 47-year-old man who was found lying dead in a South Jamaica driveway Sunday with a gunshot wound to his head..
Ates’s lifeless body was discovered about three blocks from his home on Lakewood Avenue around 5:30 p.m. in a driveway on 107th Avenue after officers responded to a 911 call, police said.
The NYPD said Monday there were no witnesses to the crime.
