CORONA — Police were on the hunt for a group of inter-borough jewelry store thieves who have struck seven times since September, including heists in Corona, Jackson Heights and Flushing, the NYPD said.
Police said one suspect enters each location with a handgun while two or three accomplices jump over the counter and remove jewelry.
Among the locations hit are 37-58 103rd St. in Corona around 8 p.m. Oct. 28, 74-15 37 Ave. in Jackson Heights around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 and 37-11 Main St. in downtown Flushing around 6 p.m. Nov. 9, police said.
