No injuries were reported after a two-alarm blaze ripped through a South Ozone Park home last Saturday afternoon, Jan. 11, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the inferno ignited at around 3:15 p.m. inside a residence on 135th Place near Sutter Avenue. According to FDNY sources, the blaze caused a large section of the rear of the home to collapse. Responding to the scene-listed in the order of arrival-were members of Engine companies 302, 303, 308, 285, 275 and 298; Ladder companies 155, 126, 142, 158 and 133; Squad Co. 270; Rescue 4; and Battalions 51, 50, 39, 28 and 37-under the direction of Division 13-along with the 106th Precinct and EMS units. Four hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, it was noted.
