Members of the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813 in Woodside recently learned how to launch their own businesses through a seminar conducted by Man-Li Kuo Lin of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson. As noted

State and federal lawmakers held a free community health workshop on preventing falls for Queens seniors at the Flushing YMCA Dec. 18. Reportedly, falls are the leading cause of lethal and non-lethal injuries for seniors. Pictured from left are: Rep.
