NYPD asks for help finding missing man

RIDGEWOOD — The NYPD has requested the public’s assistance in finding a 90-year-old who went missing Dec. 31.

Police said Miguel Martinez, of Ridgewood, was last seen leaving the M and R train station, at 67th Street and Queens Boulevard, shortly before midnight New Year’s Eve.

He was wearing a yellow polo shirt, yellow plaid shorts and black sandals and carrying a green blanket, authorities said.

The NYPD released a photo of Martinez and described him as about 5 feet tall and 140 pounds.
