Firefighters responded to three separate blazes at the same Glendale home on 79th Street on Monday

Rep. Grace Meng helped comfort troops that were deployed away from home this holiday season with “Operation Honor Card.” The congresswoman purchased holiday cards and had Queens residents fill them out before sending them to service members abroad. Among those pictured holding cards with Meng are Community Board 9 member Rabbi Daniel Pollack and Deputy Queens Borough President Barry Grodenchik.
