Two-alarm Fire at Corona Home

A firefighter is pictured picking away at the burning façade of a Corona home that caught fire on Monday night, Jan. 27, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the two-alarm blaze broke out at about 9 p.m. in the vicinity of Otis Avenue and Penrod Street. More than 20 Fire Department units rushed to the scene along with EMS units and the 110th Precinct. No injuries were reported. Three hose lines were used to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
