A detective who collared a burglar recently was honored as Cop of the Month during the 110th Precinct Community Council’s meeting on Monday night, Feb. 17, at Flanders Field VFW Post 150 in Corona. As shown, Deputy Inspector Ronald Leyson, the precinct’s commanding officer, and Evelyn DeCoursey, precinct council president, presented Det. Gerard Wrenn with a plaque donated by the Times Newsweekly for his efforts. Among those shown at the award presentation Monday night are City Council Member Daniel Dromm-who spoke about community issues during the session-and Lt. Richard Rudolph, commander of the 110th Precinct Detective Squad.
