Members of the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813 in Woodside recently learned how to launch their own businesses through a seminar conducted by Man-Li Kuo Lin of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson. As noted

Members of the St. Mary Gate of Heaven Rosary Club in Ozone Park donated a number of supplies to the Valentines for Veterans drive held by Assemblyman Mike Miller. The lawmaker recently met with the club and received the donated items, which will be sent to local veterans as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for their service through the years.
