The Queens Transit Committee held a drive-by rally on Sunday, Mar. 9 in Elmhurst. The event was organized to build support against Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s transfer of $40 Million from MTA funds to the general debt service. The announcement was made at the beginning of the year when Gov. Cuomo made public the executive budget for 2014-15.
