Community Board 5 Parks Committee Co-Chair Steve Fiedler shows a diagram of planned improvements at Glendale’s Evergreen Park during last Wednesday’s Community Board 5 meeting in Middle Village.

Cub Scouts Pack 390 based in Woodside cheered on the St. John’s University Red Storm during a recent game held at Madison Square Garden. Parents and pack leaders chaperoned the students to the Manhattan arena to see the Red Storm defeat DePaul University. Scout members are shown saluting after their appearance.
