Members of the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813 in Woodside recently learned how to launch their own businesses through a seminar conducted by Man-Li Kuo Lin of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson. As noted

Members and associates of the Sgt. Edward R. Miller VFW Post in Glendale held their annual Good Friday fish fry on Friday, Apr. 18 to celebrate the ending of Lent. The ladies auxilliary also auctioned off 18 Easter baskets at the event. The VFW serves as a community event center for veterans in the area.
