Members of the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813 in Woodside recently learned how to launch their own businesses through a seminar conducted by Man-Li Kuo Lin of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson. As noted

The Msgr. Sherman Knights of Columbus chapter held a fish fry at St. Pancras Pfeiffer Hall on Friday, Apr. 11 to raise funds. Fish, French fries and cold drinks were served and there was also a ticket lottery. In the group photo are Bill Kulin, Jerry Bollmann, Michael Falce, Don Gander, Joe Strohmeier, Jimmy Funaro, Dom Pucci, Joe Falce, Gerry O’Callaghan and Mike Fesler.
