Youngsters at St. Pancras School learned how to “take a bite out of crime” from McGruff the Crime Dog, who made a special visit to the Glendale institution. Speaking to students from pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade, McGruff and P.O. Brenda Hyatt of the 104th Precinct Crime Prevention Unit offered a lesson on “stranger danger” and advised children on how to avoid being lured by predators. Shown with McGruff and some of the youngsters is St. Pancras Principal Joseph Venticinque.
