Helping Veterans Find Work In H. Beach

Soldiers across Queens came to Howard Beach on Sunday, May 25, for a veterans’ jobs fair hosted by City Council Member Eric Ulrich at Russo’s on the Bay. As noted, hiring managers from a host of local companies met with veterans regarding hundreds of job openings. The event aimed to address joblessness among veterans, which remains high in the U.S. as overseas conflicts are winding down.
