The Quebradillas Baseball Organization opened its 2014 season with its 12th annual parade through the streets of Bushwick, Saturday, May 17. The league is currently fielding 27 teams, with 22 boys baseball teams and five girls softball squads. The boys teams range in age from 4-12 and the girls from 13-17 years-old. Games began the day after the parade, Sunday, May 18. The organization holds an all-star game in july and the season ends after the championship games are played the last week of August.
