OZONE PARK — Police were trying to identify suspects wanted in the gunpoint robbery of a woman in Ozone Park last weekend, the NYPD said.
Authorities said two men approached a 27-year-old woman on 81st Street around 5:30 p.m. June 14 and allegedly flashed a gun while demanding she give them her phone. When the victim refused, one of the suspects allegedly punched her in the face and took her iPhone, police said.
The suspects were described by authorities as black, approximately 16 years old and 5-foot-6. One was seen in a white and blue shirt and the second suspect was wearing a red shirt, the NYPD said.
