Sweet summer fun with a yesteryear theme was enjoyed during the Richmond Hill Historical Society’s Victorian strawberry social at the Forest Park Carousel on Sunday afternoon, July 20. The festivities included unlimited carousel rides, various strawberry desserts and performances by a barber shop quartet. Proceeds raised during the event will support the historical society’s various programs. Some of its members, many of whom dressed for the occasion in Victorian period garb, are pictured at right.
