Independence Day Schedule Changes
All subway lines, New York City Transit buses and MTA Bus Company lines will run on a Saturday schedule tomorrow, Independence Day, Friday, July 4. Riders are advised to plan their trips accordingly.
Additionally, the Long Island Rail Road will operate additional eastbound trains out of Penn Station this afternoon, Thursday, July 3, for those leaving work early to start the holiday weekend. For schedules, visit www.mta.info/lirr.

More Disruptions
Affect The 7 Line
Manhattan-bound 7 trains will skip the 111th Street, 103rd Street, 90th Street and 82nd Street stations this weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, July 4, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 7.
For service to these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or 74th Street, then transfer to a Flushing-bound 7 train. For service from these stations, take the 7 train to Junction Boulevard or Mets-Willets Point, then transfer to a Manhattan- bound 7 train.
Additionally, 7 trains will skip the Junction Boulevard station in both directions from 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, until 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 9. For service to and from this station, transfer to a free shuttle bus available at the 90th Street and 103rd Street stations.
Bklyn. Stops Skipped On J & M Weekdays
Jamaica Center-bound J trains and Middle Village-bound M trains will skip the Hewes Street, Lorimer Street and Flushing Avenue stations on Thursday, July 3, from 9:45 a.m. until 3 p.m.
For service to these stations, take the J or M train to Myrtle Avenue- Broadway, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound J or M train. For service from these stations, take the J or M train to Marcy Avenue (Unlimited MetroCard users only) or Essex Street, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound J train or a Middle Village-bound M train.
Additionally, Manhattan-bound J trains and Forest Hills-bound M trains will skip the Flushing Avenue, Lorimer Street and Hewes Street stations on Thursday, July 3, from 9:45 a.m. until 3 p.m.
For service to these stations, take the J or M train to Marcy Avenue (Unlimited MetroCard users only) or Essex Street, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound J train or a Middle Village-bound M train. For service from these stations, take the J or M train to Myrtle Avenue- Broadway, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound J train or a Forest Hills-bound M train.
Late Night Switches
On E Line In Queens
Jamaica Center-bound E trains will run on the F line between West Fourth Street and 21st Street- Queensbridge late nights Monday through Friday from 9:30 p.m. through Friday, July 18. Service will operate normally between 9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3, and 5 a.m. Friday, July 4.
Forest Hills-bound M trains will also run on the F line between 47th- 50th Streets and 21st Street-Queensbridge weeknights Monday through Thursday from 9:30 p.m. until midnight through Thursday, July 10. Service will operate normally on Thursday, July 3.
As a result, there will be no Jamaica Center-bound E train service at the Seventh Avenue, Fifth Avenue- 53rd Street, Lexington Avenue-53rd Street, Court Square-23rd Street and Queens Plaza stations.
For service to the Court Square- 23rd Street or Queens Plaza stops, transfer to a free shuttle bus at the 21st Street-Queensbridge station.
Weekend Local Svc. For E And F Trains
E and F trains will operate local service in both directions between Queens Plaza and 71st-Continental Avenues this weekend, from 12:30 a.m. Saturday, July 5, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 7. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.
Moreover, R trains will be extended along the F line between 71st-Continental Avenues and Jamaica-179th Street all this weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
Late Night Local Svc. For F Line In W. Qns.
Manhattan-bound F trains will run local service between Roosevelt Avenue and 21st Street-Queensbridge on Tuesdays through Fridays from 12:01 until 5 a.m. through Friday, July 11. Normal service, however, will be in effect on Friday, July 4.
Additionally, Jamaica-bound F trains will run local service between 21st Street-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Avenue late nights, Tuesday through Friday, from 12:01 to 5 a.m. through Friday, July 18. Service will operate normally on July 4 and July 15.
These trains will stop at 65th Street, Northern Boulevard, 46th Street, Steinway Street and 36th Street.
Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.
Switch Of Lines For F Trains To Jamaica
Jamaica-bound F trains will run on the M line between between 47th-50th Streets and Roosevelt Avenue this weekend, from 9:45 p.m. Friday, July 4, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 7. As a result, there will be no Jamaica-bound F train service at the 21st Street- Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, Lexington Avenue-63rd Street and 57th Street stations.
For service to 21st Street- Queensbridge or Roosevelt Island, take the F train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound F train. For service from these stations, take the F train to 47th-50th Streets, then transfer to a Jamaica-bound F train .
Delayed Weekend
Svc. On The G Line
G trains will operate every 20 minutes between Court Square in Long Island City and Bedford- Nostrand Avenues in Brooklyn on Saturday and Sunday, July 5-6, from 5 a.m. until midnight. Riders are advised to allow additional travel time.
It was noted that alternate Church Avenue-bound G trains will make their last stop at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues; riders can transfer there to continue their trip to Church Avenue.
N Trains Skip Stops
In Astoria Weekdays
Manhattan-bound N trains will skip the 30th Avenue, Broadway, 36th Avenue and 39th Avenue stations on Tuesday, July 8, through Friday, July 11, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. During this period, Q trains will not operate between 57th Street in Manhattan and Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard.
For service to the skipped stations, take the N train to Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to an Astoria-bound N train. For service from these stations, take the N train to Astoria Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound N train.
Station Renewal Comes To A Line
The Ozone Park/Far Rockawaybound platform at the 88th Street station and the Ozone Park-bound platform at the 101st Street station on the A line remain shut through August as part of an ongoing station renewal project.
For service to the 88th Street station, take the A train to Rockaway Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train. For service to the 101st Street station, take a Lefferts Boulevard/Ozone Parkbound A train to 111th Street, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.
For service from these stations, take the A train to either Rockaway Boulevard or 80th Street, then transfer to an Ozone Park-bound or a Far Rockaway-bound A train.
