Robbery spree hits northeast Queens

FLUSHING- Police were looking for two men responsible for at least four robberies in the confines of the 107th and 109th Precincts.

In at least one of the incidents, one of the suspects pulled out a gun, the NYPD said.

The robbery pattern occurred between Aug. 4 and Aug. 18.

In the first case, in the early morning hours of Aug. 4, police said one of the thieves stole a bag from a 63-year-old woman at gunpoint at the intersection os 202nd Street and Hillside Avenue.

Ten days later, a suspect approached a 46-year-old woman, assaulted her and fled with her bag, said the police. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Both Memorial Avenue and 162nd Street.

On Aug. 17, the two suspects, police said, snatched a purse from another 46-year-old woman at 165th Street and Horace Harding Expressway.

Police said that in the last incident, the two suspects assaulted a 23-year-old man and took his personal property.

According to the NYPD, both suspects are in their 20s, 6-feet-tall and weight 170 pounds.
