Detectives were investigating the death of a 30-year-old man found stabbed to death on a street corner in Corona early Sunday, Aug. 3, police said.

Responding officers discovered Woodside resident Fabian Carreno’s blood-soaked body with slash wounds to his face and neck at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 97th Street at around 2:13 a.m., according to the NYPD.

He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said a surveillance camera outside a business caught the incident and that detectives were going through the footage to determine what happened.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon.
