ST. ALBANS — A 36-year-old Department of Sanitation employee was pulled over for allegedly driving with busted headlights, and arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in St. Albans Saturday morning, the NYPD said.

The Police Department said Julian McLeggan, 36, was stopped near Farmers Boulevard and 118th Avenue when officers noticed his headlights were out around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The NYPD said police smelled alcohol on his breath, noticed he was slurring his speech and walking unsteadily.
