Extra volunteers were needed to serve patrons at the St. Margaret’s School Oktoberfest celebration last Saturday

City Council Majority Leader Jimmy Van Bramer visited local residents at Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House’s senior center in Long Island City’s Queensbridge section last Monday, Dec. 1, and participated in the seniors center’s “Dance for Seniors” program, which is choreographed and facilitated by Dances for a Variable Population.
