A man was shot in the Pomonok neighborhood early Friday morning, the NYPD said.
At 2:34 a.m., police found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head at the Pomonok Houses on 155-11 71st Ave. Friday, according to Sergeant Doody. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity was being withheld pending family notification, Doody said. No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing.
