Police have arrested a man in a South Ozone Park shooting where one person was killed and another was injured while they were sitting in a parked car earlier this month.
Jiram Ali Suarez, 24, of Queens Village, is facing second-degree murder, robbery and criminal possession charges in the Jan. 6 incident, cops said.
The gunman fired at the two men as they were seated inside a Honda CRV on 130th Street near Old South Road at about 10 p.m., according to police.
John Pichardo, 19, of Brooklyn, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg, police said. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
