The police are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a man on Roosevelt Avenue yesterday.
Police discovered a 38-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso Tuesday at about 2:20 pm. The victim was found at 93-12 Roosevelt Ave, by the intersection of Roosevelt Ave and 93rd Street.
The man was identified as Jorge Manzanarez, of 111th Street in Flushing.
EMS responded to the scene and transported Manzanarez to Elmhurst General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation is still ongoing.
