Remains of man found in Bayswater in March ruled a homicide: Medical examiner

The medical examiner’s office deemed the death of a 26-year-old man whose remains were found in March by police in Bayswater a homicide July 1.

On March 30, at about 10:45 a.m., police found human remains of an individual who was unidentified at the time inside a black duffel bag along the shoreline at 14-52 Gipson St. EMS responded and pronounced the individual dead.

The man has been identified as Westerley Osson, whose address is unknown.

The investigation was ongoing, according to a police spokeswoman.
