A burglar filled up his vehicle with a load of cash after breaking into a Bayside gas station over the weekend, according to police.
The burglary happened about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Gulf station at 79-10 Springfield Blvd., near 50th Avenue.
After the suspect — a black male — exited his gray vehicle, he walked up to the station, forcibly entered the office and took $40,000, authorities said. The suspect then fled in the car with another unknown male.
Police have released video footage of the break-in and the car used by the suspect.
