Fire officials rescued a baby from a blaze at a Corona home — which was one of three fires that occurred throughout the borough Tuesday night.

The 3-week-old boy was reportedly taken out of a house at 34-40 106th St. after the FDNY received a call about a fire at about 9:30 p.m. The blaze was under control an hour later and the child was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. Authorities announced on Wednesday that the firefighter who saved the baby was the nephew of FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro.

Just an hour before, authorities also responded to a call of a fire on the second floor of a home at 143-07 Oak Ave. in Flushing.

Earlier in the night a fire broke out at a home under construction at 108-43 66th Ave. in Forest Hills at around 7:30 p.m., fire officials said.

No injuries were reported during the two-alarm fire.

Throughout the night residents voiced their concerns via social media in response to tweets of the fire from the 112th Precinct.

“I live in the area and I am getting scared about all these fires lately,” wrote one resident.

The precinct responded through Twitter saying, “We’re aware of the recent rash of residential fires in #ForestHills We’re coordinating with #FDNY and other investigative authorities.”

Just a week ago another home under construction in Forest Hills was also consumed by a fire, which required about 140 fire personnel at the scene to battle the three-alarm blaze.
