NYPD: Man pretending to have a gun robs a Dunkin’ Donuts Jackson Heights store

Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts store in Jackson Heights earlier this month after pretending to have a gun.

The suspect entered the 37-03 95th Street location on Nov. 6 at 8:48 pm and then indicated that he had a firearm in his jacket pocket, according to police. The alleged perpetrator then handed a note to a 24-year-old female employee behind the counter.

The note said that he had a gun and demanded money. The victim complied and gave the suspect $160 from the register, according to police. The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect is a male, Hispanic, 5’9” and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and a black skullcap.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect.
