A pop-up center for IDNYC enrollment will be at Queens Community House’s Forest Hills site for the month of November.
The pop-up center will be open from Monday, Nov. 9, until Dec. 3 at 108-25 62nd Drive.
Organizers recommend that interested parties make an appointment before coming in to get an ID card to guarantee service. Appointments can be made on Monday-Friday between 9:00 am-5:00 pm by calling the community house at (718) 592-5757, calling 311 or by visiting www.nyc.gov/idnyc.
All New York City residents 14 years and older who reside in New York City’s five boroughs are eligible for the ID, regardless of immigration status. It is a secure document accepted as proof of identification to enable residents access City services and gain admission to City buildings. The IDNYC card can also be used to open banking accounts at select institutions.
A representative of the Queens Community House said that they were proud to assist IDNYC in its mission.
“It ultimately reflects our own ongoing commitment to foster strong, stable, self-sufficient families and communities,” Communications Coordinator Angel Roggie said.
