A man who thought he was taking a woman back to her hotel room for a good time ended up getting his hand sliced and robbed, according to police.
A 43-year-old man met the female suspect near 82nd Street and Roosevelt Ave. The two decided to go back to the woman’s room in the Metro Motel, located at 73-00 Queens Blvd, according to police.
However, when the two reached the motel room another man, identified as Adam Arenas, 31, was there waiting, according to the NYPD.
The female suspect slashed the victim’s hand before taking his cell phone and an undetermined amount of money. The suspects then fled the motel, the NYPD said.
The victim was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital where he was treated and released.
Arenas is identified as a male, Hispanic, 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds.
Police have released a photo of Arenas from a 2015 arrest for petit larceny as well as a surveillance photo of the female suspect.
